A framed picture of the deity gives the home a place for daily darshan, even where there is no room for a full pooja shelf.

• Hung in the pooja room, the hall, a shop or an office.
• Garlanded and worshipped with a lamp on festival days.
• A traditional gift for house-warmings, shop openings and weddings.

• Hang the frame on a dry wall with a hook that suits its size and weight, at or a little above eye level.
• Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from steam and moisture, such as near the stove or the bathroom.
• Clean the glass with a soft, dry cloth. Do not spray liquid straight onto the frame.
• If you garland the frame, use light flowers and remove them once they dry.
• Keep lit lamps and incense at a safe distance from the frame.
