Sacred idols should ideally be placed in your puja room facing East or North-East (Ishanya direction). For brass and copper items, clean periodically using Pitambari powder or mild lemon juice with water to preserve their natural radiant glow. Keep yantras on a clean red or yellow silk cloth and offer pure ghee lamps or incense daily.
